Limits of stock bottom end - AP1
Ive been searching this topic, and only find that some people say the stock block can hold 500hp with a headgasket, I find that amazing.
Whats the limits for the stock block, stock headgasket?

It all seems to be in the tune, as too how much power this motor will take. There will be no definative answer to this, only possibilities.
It's possible 500-700 but how long will it last. The higher the power especially with out a least a head gasket to lower the compression, it's only a matter of when it will blow.

I think ~500 has been a good "safe" mark for just a head gasket, it's all in a tune though. Lately many have been crossing that line and been daily driving with little to no problems. I'll be daily driving mine at 450hp once I get it up and running on the stock bottom end.
