Liquidgsr Laguna build thread
I def will. Haven't slept in 3 days. I didn't even call them because I didn't want more bad news. This made my day. Other than finally getting it back and driving a turbo s2000 and it being my own car I feel a whole lot better. So much weight off. I thought I'd need a new block.

Cool. I should be home by 630 this evening (keep in mind I'm not able to carry a phone into the building, so PM or email are the best way to reach me).
Whats the best way to stop these oil leak problems? My dad was saying teflon would just burn up. They said some of my fittings were bad and they are replacing them. I guess all the full blown fittings are not up to par. Hoping they finish this Today or Monday and I can get it back soon. Ahhhhhh can't wait.
Where are the leaks, specifically? You don't need tape with AN fittings (the 37 degree taper is what creates the seal). I use tape with my feed fittings (on the 1/8" side of the fittings); never had a problem with melting (but it is a possibility).
I've had good success with the Loctite PST (pipe sealant with teflon) for all pipe thread fittings. It comes in a white tube.
If some of your AN fittings are nicked on the seat area, there are intermediate tapered crush washers you can use to create a seal, but if it's an issue with the fitting, best to just replace, make sure the brand of fittings they're using are compatible with the hose you used.
I'm still confused by why things weren't rotating originally. If the input shaft went into the pilot bearing, the clutch disks had to have been lined up. The alignment tool is just to set them up so the input shaft can go in. After that they're free to float on the input shaft when the clutch is depressed and will self align. Anyways glad to hear things are coming together for you!
