Im not sure exactly where its leaking Kyle. They just said it was leaking and some of the fittings needed replacing. Carlos said he is still working out the leaking issues.

As far as the car binding yeah he said it was the clutch. The spacers weren't put in right and I guess wasn't letting it rotate. I will find out further when I talk to them again.

If some of your AN fittings are nicked on the seat area, there are intermediate tapered crush washers you can use to create a seal, but if it's an issue with the fitting, best to just replace, make sure the brand of fittings they're using are compatible with the hose you used.

I'm still confused by why things weren't rotating originally. If the input shaft went into the pilot bearing, the clutch disks had to have been lined up. The alignment tool is just to set them up so the input shaft can go in. After that they're free to float on the input shaft when the clutch is depressed and will self align. Anyways glad to hear things are coming together for you!

Andrew
The floaters aren't supposed to move circularly (the tangs ensure that they remain stationary). At least, that is my interpretation of their intended use.

it would make sense even if the stuff was lined up and the input shaft was in the splines properly, if the clutch discs and spacer were incorrectly installed the only thing I can think of is the physical space between the flywheel and pressure plate was too small for the way the discs and spacers were installed, thus not allowing anything to move unless it was in neutral, but even still by hand you should have been able to move the motor on the crank shaft bolt when in neutral ......

wierd ......

anyways awesome news, get that some moma bitch on the dyno ....

They could hand crank it, but they said something was rubbing. So I am assuming it was the clutch discs rubbing with the flywheel as they hand cranked it.

That's what I was getting at earlier, my comp twin had the label on the clutch disk backwards as to which direction was supposed to face the flywheel, when installed that way, the disk would interfere with the flywheel bolt heads. I only picked up on it because I had two sets of disks and the labels weren't consistent. It would have been really easy to put it together the wrong way.

lol Andrew, I believe we're arguing the same point. His issue was with the floaters, however; not the clutch discs

I may go down there tomorrow to drop the fuel off, check out the progress. Should be done soon if nothing else goes wrong. The shop is doing good work.
