I am about to purchase a Used CTSC with AEM EMS (fully tune for his car). My question is, is it safe for me start it and drive to my shop for tuning? Everything is about the same ex: injector size and fuel pump, except i have a header and exhaust. his is MY00 and mine is MY02.

 

yup. totally safe - just stay out of boost till you get on the dyno

 

What would be a safe RPM range while driving? Thanks.

 

don't go beyond 4,000 RPM every shift so you won't see any boost.

 

Hey, might help if you put a descriptive title. Something like:

"SC and EMS. Ok to drive?"

 

it has nothing to do with rpms really just dont punch the gas. Light throttle and stay below 4-5k

 

That's true really. As long as you don't go WOT you will be OK.

 

beware the old version comptech bracket..very prone to cracking, and depending on where it cracks, leaking oil. speaking from personal experience here
