I wonder if anyone else with a KW kit has noticed or checked their crank pulley for failure
i replaced mine after initial install but prior to reinstalling the engine after inline pro rebuilt it. the stock oe crank pulley was still intact on removal but i replaced it after reading a thread on here regarding the rubber failing at higher age on their own anyways.

fyi... honda consolidated the different part numbers into one, so you may have to modify the kw adapter to fit with the new key orientation on the new oem pulley. its apparently a 50/50 shot.

Contacted them and they said it's interchangeable, as suspected. And ordered it.

What manifold studs did you go with? I bought some 38mm ARP's but feel 45mm may be more appropriate, as you mentioned 51mm was too long.

thanks for your insight!

PS: I drove down the guy who bought your old SSM once-f24'd track car.

Yeah 51mm were too long for 2 spots, i ended up using a mix of the 51mm and the 45mm and even 1 oem one since i couldnt fit either the ARP ones

my advice is figure out which studs you can install on the manifold to turbine part, the bolts they supply suck to install, i should have done studs there but didnt think about it until it was too late. if i ever pull the turbo off i'll swap to studs.

Gotcha! Thanks for the heads up and information so far! I will probably use majority ARP 45s and if I have to use an OEM I will. I am using a T3 hotside T4 cold side hybrid turbo, so it's going to be fun making it all work together. My oil relocator pedestal seems like it is exactly where the hot side charge pipe goes so that will be fun finagling things to fit.

Hoping the downpipe clears everything since the turbo off the manifold will wind up being extended 1/2" or so, and still bolts to the rest of the exhaust... :|

I got this manifold in. It is about 17lbs. Messaged my fab guy regarding adding some welds over these...

"That's a China manifold

Ohhh realllyyy

Yes
That was welded once then they go back over it with high frequency pulse which give it that look

I dont kniw what any of that means
Know*

Lol. It's a horrible process

Really? Not strong?

It's not the greatest. It's not back purged the welds never really penetrate

I see

It's made to look like a good weld..its comparable to a shemale could fool you and might get a surprise later"

I called CXracing and asked them why the welds were incomplete, and they said that was just normal. See pics attached.

I am sending it back... -shrug-

If I ever take mine off I'll look at mine. But the one I have doesn't leak and its wrapped so I don't mind how the welds look.

The ones they came with. If you find the size/thread buy studs instead of using their supplied ones as they suck to install.
