Default Looking to go turbo

I'm picking up an s in a week or so and i'm going to be looking to turbo it. I'm coming from a wrx with 311hp/330tq so I have the itch to have another turbo. I was told by a buddy that its not a good to go turbo because the s has a weak tranny and weak rear end. My question is, is this true or would the stock set-up hold up?

uhhh, if anything the wrx has one of the weakest trannys out there

I'm runing 22psi on stock tranny, however I do have an upgraded rear diff but thats because I'm into launching.

Oh yeah, I've got an upgraded clutch. An Exedy Hyper Single and it's a pain in the but.

as long as your not dumping the clutch and really racing it. you should be fine. plus 330hp will not have any that much affect on it anyway

I had an 04 wrx and it was probably the best tranny out of all MY's. I didn't launch so that's probablly why it held up so we'll. My other question is, and this is semi rhetorical, but do I need a tune once I bolt up a turbo?
