^yup.

do you have an oem HG? if so, how many miles on it?
if aftermarket, which one/how long has it been on there?

here is a suggestion:

with the car off, take the fans off(the fans blow shit all over the place and make it hard to pinpoint problems when it comes to front of the bay fluids). then clean all of the fluid up under the bay.

take your time! the cleaner it is, the easier it will be to spot the drama when it starts.

start your car and let it run in your driveway with the fans off and let it get up to temp and keep a close eye on any coolant appearing.

the car will get to temp without the fans running within around ten minutes, so it will replicate your situation and wherever the coolant is coming from will make itself known.

do this and report back for further analysis or conclusion of your woes.

Use a Block Tester and perform a leakdown. This should be enough to tell you if it's a head gasket or not. Good luck.

Good advice here Taking the fans off will also make it easier to see if its leaking from the rad core

Hurry up and tell us where your rad is leaking from

^why? shoulda just done the test as i suggested. now youre gonna have to track it down piece by piece like that. the idea is to replicate the problem situation in a controlled setting to find the source. not break it all down to where the car cant even idle and visually look at stuff siting on the floor. that wont do much good. but whatever.
have fun.

I guess you missed the part when i said i lost a bolt in to bottom of the turbo where it bolts to the manifold came out. That causes a boost leak and my A/F to be all over the place. I'll fix the coolant leak when i get around to it i dont really drive the car in the winter anyway. And as far as stuff sitting on the floor you can plug both ends of the rad and pressure test it to take that out of the leak equation. The first and only point of the origi al post was

Is it possible to have a blown head gasket and squirt coolant out of the block onto the engine bay thats all. If not ill find the coolant leak.

Put a long tube onto the nipple from the radiator neck that normally runs to the expansion tank.

Run this tube into a large coke bottle half full of water. Dangle the tube so its covered in the water.

Put the bottle so you can see it. In a passengers lap, strapped to the outside review mirror or even on the outside of the windscreen works fine.

Drive the car and use the brakes so you can throttle up without hitting warp speed. If you see a constant stream of bubbles the head gasket is leaking.

Often, early head gasket leakage only happens under heavy load or boost. The car will behave at idle and low engine speeds.

Good luck

Team Valor

Again the communication process has broken down. Its not a boost leak, ok I'll entertain that it is an exhaust leak, pre turbo. I don't see how that changes the severity of the problem, but I'm sure you can agree it would need to be fixed. I'm not sure of your farmiliarity with the inline pro kit but it is stuffed onto the side of the engine with zero space to manuever. So it had to be removed. I'd imagine the car should be in good working condition on the turbo side of things before I start investigating the coolant leak. So as far as my ideologoy ? I have two problems I'm fixing one before the other, if you have an issue with that I will ask jesus if I need to ask for your forgiveness for so deeply offending you.

I think what your fishing for is me or someone else to say "your idea of taking the fans off is simply the greatest idea I have ever heard" really your amazing, I actually just forwarded your post to honda so they can teach all their techs this new piece of mechanical ingenuity. Your Brilliant!!

Again my ONLY question was can a blown headgasket spray coolant from the block?

Can a blown head gasket spray coolant from the block?

Short of that lets pretend we never met I know I'd like nothing more

lol!

im not it for any "pat on the back" for an idea.

you posted a thread for info on how to track down a problem that you obviously couldnt with the methods you previously employed.

so we gave you ways to go about it....

you ignored them, and went back about your own way of strange tactics.

why waste the time of those who are trying to help you by ignoring the info given?
i guess thats what im getting at.
