Well ya, that's only cause I'd rather have the revs. The sound at least makes you think you're going faster

y does it spool up faster? wouldnt the extra rpm's on the F20 help even out the 2 engines? i hear u can increase the F22 to almost 9k rpms too (but how?). I kno inlinepro makes a 2.5L setup but would there be an advantage of goin with a 2.5L instead of 2 / 2.2L?

more displacement means more air/energy is pushed through the turbo at a lower RPM, which means itll spool up sooner.
And yes, the 2.5 stroker would be sick if you could lower the compression enough. Just dont rev the piss out of it, otherwise youll see some fire and chunks underneath you(Best Motoring video, J's car). Although, I think he mechanically over-revved, but point being, there is no replacement for displacement Sure, you can turn up the boost, but if you want torque sooner, go larger displacement.

I wouldn't FI the 2.5L. The headgasket wouldn't get a chance to seal too well and probably blow out.

The lack of piston oil squirters on the IP 2.5 has me concerned enough on a NA car, never mind a turbo'd 2.5 that has even more heat to deal with.

BTW, a stock F20C has the oil squirters for piston cooling.

The Super Street cover car doesn't have a 2.5L. The entire article is pretty much BS from start to finish.

There have been several failures of 2.5L Inline Pro engines. At least 3 are documented on S2ki.
