Default Making custom 3" exhaust

I started to make myself a custom 3" exhaust tonight. I know that most of you forced induction guys like the piping to be as straight as possible for better flow but I felt like keeping my lower tie bar stock. Once tuned I plan to compare three different mufflers, the apexi n1, megan, and ebay brand to see which makes more power. For right now I am using the megan with 3" 304ss that has been polished on the inside.

The muffler tip will sit a little higher up once the hangers have been welded on.

I will update the pics tomorrow afternoon once I get the final weld on and get it all cleaned up.

Updated pics, Done!

Would you be willing to make another one for some $$? I'm in chicago so I could come pick it up from you.

nice, you did it yourself, but all that work, and a megan muffler?

functions the same i'm sure, but when you go through the hassle of fabbin' your own 3", why not spend the extra skrilla and scoop a "nicer" can?

Like I said up top, once tuned I will compare all three mufflers. I don't have the apexi yet so I started off with the megan. If the megan and the apexi or for that matter the ebay brand $25 mufler function/perform the same, than why spend the extra money for a name?

Looking great Kristian, nice work bro, you got some skills. BTW, I might just hack that flange off my stock exhaust. Think it will work?

Thanks, it sounds really good now that the car is tuned. It is a lot deeper note than stock.
