Well just got this car not to long ago, and since i have had it i started to find all the little things about a modified car that always tend to be there. First thing was a boosted car with no guages, previus owner must have sold em before he sold the car.
AEM UEGO 270$
AEM tru boost 250$

After installing the guages and jumping through some hoops, I get everything working right, only to find out the clutch is all but gone

Compition Stage 4 clutch $645

After ordering the clutch, I decided before getting tuned it would be in my best interest to have the headgasket and arp headstuds as well

Inline Pro 3mm Head gasket $270
ARP head studs $150

The last item to be address is the awful exhaust on the car, the previus owner had a hack job custom peice installed that goes as small as 1.75in, which isnt exactly ideal for the turbo set up.

Ultimate Racing 3in single $620

Just to explain, the vband and flex are for the downpipe where previus owner hacked off the flange and welded it directly to a cat lol.
SO once ive got this all installed ill be getting it tuned for another 550.
so in total this has all added up too 3037 bucks!!! Thats not including the shipping cost for everything lol. Gotta love this hobby! I hope i get atleast 450hp out of my SC61 after all this

 

How much psi are you pushing?

 

right now i have it just running on the wastegate, once i get it tuned ill let the tuner decide how far i should go

 

i would get everything checked out...sounds like a lot of cut corners....hope everything works out! def. not a cheap game to play
