Default Manifold bolts sheered off

So 4 of my 7 manifold bolts sheered off (I'm running a Full-Race kit). They were 12.9 grade metric Allen head bolts sourced locally at Ace hardware. I had to remove the factory studs and switch to bolts due to the super tight fit of the FR kit.

I was able to get 3 of the 4 broken bolts out of the head using PB blaster, drill and extractor bits. I'm having a hard time with the last bolt. It's the one closest to the firewall, which limits room to work on it.

I was able to get a small hole started in the bolt and get an extractor bit up in there, but then the extractor snapped off. Now I'm having a real hard time drilling into the bolt due to the extractor bit. I'm getting desperate (hoping I won't have to pull the head) and open to suggestions.....put a torch to the broken bolt?, remove pass. side motor mount and jack up motor to one side for more room to work?, some sort of exotic drill bit that will drill through the extractor bit? Any ideas?

i broke the extractor in a set screw on my old comptech adjustable coilovers and let me say I feel sorry for you. I went through multiple drill bits and a great deal of time with no real progress. I wish you the best of luck.

Is it as easy as loosening the mount and jacking the motor up? Or do I have to loosen/remove anything else?

just take off the 2 nuts on the passenger side mount and u can get about 3-4 inches when u jack it up, i did this a few times, and yes the fr manifold is a pain in the ass to take on and off

I had the exact same circumstances with one of the allen screws on the plug cover a few years ago. What i eventually did was take a cold chisel and.cut a notch into the head of the bolt. I locked some vice grips around a huge flathead screwdrive and turned that bitch out  . Do you have of that stud protruding out of the head so you would be able to do the same?

If your going to be able to drill that bolt/extractor your going to need to aneal it by heating it up cherry red. then after it cools it will actually be able to drill.
