dont get cheap products for the S. If youre going to do it right, spend the extra cash. Plus who would rock obx on our S?

i understand this, but these manifolds look like an exact clone of full face, and if they are steel and have a life time guarantee against cracking, why not

No matter what they say, ebay and cheap knockoffs have never been, are not, and will never be as good as the originals. It's up to you if you want to take a risk of your motor (or your car depending on how it goes out) only to save a few bucks (in comparison).

There is no way you can cut off up to and over $1,000 on these parts without seriously cutting corners...be it on material or workmanship. It would be more believable if they were only like $100-200 cheaper than the originals, but then at that point I would go with the real thing anyways because those have a proven track record.

Yes there is. Just have it made in China. And don't assume because its made in China the quality is no good.

i would be agreeing with u guys telling someone not to buy this, but when i saw that picture of the manifold, i understand what i get in the mail could be a venom knock off intake manifold, but they have a guarantee against cracking, v band wastegate flange, merge collector, full stainless manifold

I thought about that, but I think that all depends on the product in question... I have nothing against chinese made goods

I just think that something like an exhuast manifold I would only trust the original manufacturer. They initially put time, effort, and money into R&D to come up with the piece. Any knockoff would simply be taking that design and taking measurements etc off of that part and then trying to subsitute whatever they deem necessary to make it cheaper and cut an even bigger profit.

Since I would already be taking a huge risk by modding the car so much, I would rather put my faith in a product that been created by the R&D of a well known and respected manufacturer rather than someone who has put no actual R&D into the creation of their product and have no reputation.

Yes but what about the design of the runners??? What about the bends? Can they guarantee that they are of very similar specs to the real ones? I'm talking about actual efficiency of the design... yes it may LOOK the same in some pics online... but what about when you receive the product... Are the runners of the same size? design? etc etc...

They can guarantee cracking and hell live up to it.. they can guarantee v-band flange etc etc but what about the actual design?

Actually thats a copy of the old full-race maifold. It has been redesigned, the wastgate no longer sits in the battery location. On the OBX mani it does.
