Buy a GM 2 or 3 bar MAP sensor off ebay....that's what we (blucky87) did for the CTSC install on his car. Tony Palo at T1 tuned it at 13 psi with no problems whatsoever. Super easy to install, here are the instructions: http://www.hondata.com/tech3barmap.html

The SOS map sensor is great. Only buck fifty or so.
Get it!

To ease your doubts, when your tuner sets up your car on the dyno, he will use his own o2 wideband and map (they tap into your vacuum). After they're done, they will probably put it in closed loop and adjust the offset in the software to match your sensor (aka what they see and what it sees). You will not deviate much from the map the tuner.

Well, the SOS one looks like the ticket. Tada!!! I freaked when I read in Dsport about this and was so upset that I had completely overlooked it. Watch for my build thread once I get everything installed and tuned. WOOT!

PS. Thanks again to all of you savvy vets out there. Id be lost without your help!

b/c the aem and GM all require you to tap into a vacuum line, the SOS, hondata or omni 3&4 bars are direct OEM replacements

Vacuum T = .50 cents.
Direct replacement = $100

Whatever floats your boat.

I like to know that the parts installed had plenty of R&D behind them. And I have the budget, so why not support the companies that actually produce quality products.

Even though I'm not a fan of GM, I'm pretty sure most of their vehicles make it to at least 150k miles, so I would think their map sensor would work just fine...but that's just me. If you don't mind spending the extra $$ for no reason, then more power to you. I was just making a suggestion that might be able to save you a little money.

btw that previous post was actually me...my buddy had used my computer earlier and was still logged in to his account on my computer...
