Definitely much more torque - which is a good thing!

I absolutely don't want to speak for him, but I think Mase is of the opinion that a turbo works better with the S2K than a SC. I believe he has posted words to that effect several times on this site.

I get confused as to who "MaseEngineering" is and who "mase1" is, but there is an answer to your question from mase1 on the first page of this thread:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...&#entry13856902
That was mase's name on here before he was a sponsor, now hes maseengineering. Mase chose the turbo I would assume because the s2k can make a lot of power and suffers from low torque...something a turbo will fix right away. With a Gt30R on mase's kit youll see full boost around 4500 or sooner I would assume and would have plenty of power at low rpm as well. I use the same turbo on a log manifold and low end torque is no issue for me, this kit is a lot better than my log.

"mase1" and "MaseEngineering" are the same Mase... "MaseEngineering" screen name I think came about when he officially sponsored the site... "mase1" was his personal account forever...

Anyone want to recommend a clutch kit for this set up?

thats all I need to finalize my "options'

would a lightened flywheel also be required, or would OEM suffice?

I was ready to order a Stage 1 SoS kit for my S on Monday. Funds have finally cleared and Ive bee looking forward to upping the power on MY06 for a while. When is this kit scheduled to be out? This kit looks to be freaking awesome. How well would a stock tranny/rear end hold up to the abuse? I wouldnt launch the car, but that is like double the toque this thing was designed for, haha
