you're forgetting the RHD one that's basically the exact same kit that's been on the road with 600+whp for over a year now without any problems. this kit will be great for anyone and if for some reason there was a problem Mase is a stand up guy, he'll make it right.
Not to argue, but most tubular mani's will last a year or 20k miles... It's BEYOND those miles that I'm worried about.

The problem with tubular manifolds is they just don't handle heating (expansion) and cooling (contraction) like a cast iron piece. The welds themselves are the weak link, NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE WELD IS. The welding points heat and cool at a different rate than the rest of the material, there is no NO WAY around that. The metal thickness at the weld points aren't the same as the rest of the material, no matter how good a job was done and those different expansion and contraction rates are what cause them to crack over time. Also the plate that the collectors (correct term?) are welded into is much thicker than tubes themselves doesn't help either.

All I'm asking for is if Mase is so certain that his manifold won't crack, then put a longer warranty on that piece. Forget the whole 5 year thing I said, but it should be at LEAST 3 years on the manifold. It's the classic put your money where your mouth is (no offense meant, just an example). If he won't do that, then he's not as certain as he says he is.

I'm sure the Mase fan club will come in and start the "don't worry about it, he knows what he's doing, he's wonderful" comments. I'm sure he is a great guy and I'm sure he believes that his manifold will hold up. But if he wants ME to believe it (and probably quite a few other people) he'll need to warranty it longer than a year.

I'm a mase fan for the record, but I have a question.

If you feel that strongly about your product (manifold) why warranty it for a year?

I believe 5yrs is a little extreme, but a 3yr would show your loyalty to the customer and your integrity in your product.

Just got an e-mail from Mase. He MIGHT have dyno numbers for the DBW kits by the end of next week.

Please keep in mind that this is barring any unforseen delays, emergencies or interruptions. He told me this in passing and should not be considered a commitment.
