Is the oil return going to be tapped on the pan or girdle?
I have done both and would recommend girdle. I noticed that oil was not returning fast enough when return to oil pan. Factory turbocharged cars I've seen also return to girdle. I tapped the girdle and used 1/2" NPT to 10AN adapter with 10AN oil return line. You can also use 1/2" NPT to 5/8" hose barb adapter. Got all my fittings from jegs.com

Oil pan is the location of the kits oil return. I have not had problems w/ going to the pan, and its the most feasible. especially if we are going to do an exchange program.

here are a couple pics of a manifold being currently constructed:

Wow. Those welds are STRAIGHT SEX! You got a good welder there!

John

PS - You tune Subaru's? Just picked up a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT (STi powerplant), and is a "Stage 2". Perrin up pipe, Cobb downpipe, no cats, Perrin CAI, ECU reflash. It only put down like 250/250 on 17psi. I think there is more to be had.

Sweet!

It may be a month or so, I am currently saving for a Cobb AccessPort. Might have to fly you up to NYC for some tuning / fun.

Those welds look mechanical! No contamination to the visible eye. Assuming it is properly back-purged?

^^^You may be able to save some cash by having him tune using open source. I'm not sure if he does that but it would save you the $700 for a new AP.

I love the pictures. Let's see some more!

Meh, not too much more can be had with the stock LGT turbo. Unless it's torque you want, then you can do injectors and an E85 tune..

Get a used sti turbo and give it another try, maybe some injectors, sti top mount IC, then tune it up.
