Mase manifold cracked
I never post comments like this, but seeing this I felt compelled. I'm with Brock, Mase has pretty much followed the recipe I see many "tuners" implement. I've been messing with immports for years; back when Full Race Geoff was still in school prototyping import parts. I remember talking to him about his z10 traction bars and their geometry flaws-they tore up my suspension bushings. Point I'm trying to make is most cut their teeth on "cheap" imports then once they get their experience they abandon the audience they used to polish their skills. Full Race is a pleasant exception to this trend, however lovefab and Mase come to mind.
Had a Mase manifold and glad I sold it before all the cracking issues arrived. Mase is a nice guy and a decent tuner, but his business ethics are poor, and that is one of the reasons I decided to cut my losses and go the ptuning route. I have had no issues with their product.
Kits definitely turned out to be sub par, I've experienced tuning personally and first round was much better, second round a year later left some to be desired. Should have just stuck with my local tuner Chad, and not got caught up in the hype. Think he just got wore out on the scene and moved on to higher income potential. Sad to see, but how he operates.
I guess Im just lucky. I've had my make kit on for 2years. I never had make tune it though initialy i kept it at 8lbs my tunnel put down 327whp after a few months turned it up to 15lbs and made 447whp no cracks or anything i did have mine ceramic coated this summer.
