Max boost on stock block
#11
running 10psi on a 30R isnt the same as running 10psi on a 42R... youre moving a good bit more air with a 42R than a 30R.. same goes with the GReddy kit.. these guys are pushing 8psi and making low 200's lol then you get a 35R and youre making high 3's...
it all depends how much CFM youre moving and your supporting mods.
stock block is pretty stout.. low-mid 400's are pretty common on the stock block.. i think your rear-end will go before your motor does.. again, tuning plays a BIG role in that.

No one group of people can agree what the highest you can run. The only factors are fuel, CFM, and tuning. When you hit knock and start going backwards with your tuner you should back off and quit. I have heard of people running 15psi on stock block no head gasket but have yet to see anyone still running that set up without any issues over the long term. You also have to take into account that a supercharger sees full boost way higher in the rpm range than a turbo guy so that plays into things as well. From what has been tried and by how many people that have failed. 10psi turbo stock block and around 13psi supercharged on average. Anything more and you are in the territory of where longevity has not been proved at all. A rare case here and there and nothing more. Play it safe or you will be rebuilding the motor before you know it.
