Default meth for cooling?

Thinking about adding some meth for cooling since I plan on doing some road course track event and also to keep things running nice cool and safe. Are a lot of you guys doing this?

I remember beating on my car when I had the Greddy Turbo and then placing my hand on the intake and charge piping, it was COLD

Water/Meth is great, as long as it pumps it when its supposed to

I'm a big believer in water/meth. It got my car into the 9's on 93 pump gas.....no race gas, or E85. It does work as intended, even beyond what we ever thought was possible.

I have not seen to many meth posts in a while. I have seen post where HP and TQ increased, you can run more boost and keep the temps down.

Downside, it's another thing to go wrong

Honestly, that can be said about the majority of mods done to a car. Of course there are definite precautions you need to take when setting up a system, but if you cover all your fail safes, you are protected against the things that might go wrong.

Hell a fuel pump can go out during a pull and wipe out your engine. It happens, but not often. Much the same with failures pertaining to a properly setup up water/meth system.

exactly.

case i point. i run 50/50 water meth with increased timing when i am spraying meth. aem meth kit has a error wire that pulls ground. when it does aem ems knows to pull timing when that happens.

anywho, meth itself is not nearly as good at cooling the intake charge as water, so i would do both

Boost juice! 51/49 water meth works. I'll see how much power I can make with 93 and the aem system

1 Bottle of PEAK -20F Windshield Washer Fluid
3 Bottles of HEET

= 50/50 Water/Meth, as far as the dye, I would not worry, a lot of fuels are dyed, (100LL for airplanes is Bright Blue), also it is DIRT cheap to make this mixture, and super convenient.

also when it comes to making your own mix, its not as simple as 1 gallon of water to 1 gallon of Meth,

I think Boost Juice is expensive
