You can spray it infront of the turbo which is the best for atomization, but it is bad for the compressor wheel. You can also spray it before the intercooler, but you have the chance of it pooling in the intercooler. I went just after the intercooler since the farther it is away from the throttle body the better.

Depending on the supercharger type there are similar advantages and disadvantages. The centrifugal superchargers are almost the exact same case as the turbos. Roots blowers if you spray before the blower it is good for atomization but the coating on the rotors prematurely comes off. The atomization increases surface area by evenly distributing the molecules which allows the water/methanol to absorb heat (by changing to vapour) and allows for better burn of the methanol as a fuel.

I dont know man. From what i've experienced...you get the best results about 3-4 inches away from the throttle body. that way when it sprays it goes straight into the intake manfold and into the motor.

You set it to start spraying at a certain boost level set by a controller...

DO NOT SPRAY IT IN FRONT OF THE TURBO, those blades spinning that fast being met by water will be the equivalent of sandblasting them.

For the max cooling effect place it far from the T/B, for the highest Octane place it as close to the T/B as you can.

So I have heard

Mine is as far away as possible from the TB, on the cold side intercooler pipe. Seems to be working really good.

You want to put it about 6" before the throttle body... if it's to far away it won't be the fine mist of methanol that you are trying to achieve.
