How long have you had this setup and what is your primary use for the vehicle? Not trying to just compare and contrasts setups in this thread, but to give future readers a sense of the type of pro's and con's that can be benefited from meth as a whole.

I had the water/meth kit more than a month now and I daily drive my car. Also took the car for a 1/4 mile run two weeks ago and my time slips were very consistent now, much better 1/4 mile of course and no more heat soaking issue. You have to check the injector nozzle once in a while though 'cause it had a tendency to get loose.... i might place a teflon tape along the thread and re tighten it. All in all i'm very happy with the kit....but i don't know the reliablity of the kit on turbo though. but on SC i think it will be okay.

Also keep it note that use always fresh meth/water. I've seen MANY guys ran for months and months without changing it.

Wow, where to start

(1) Many have done individual port injection, PatS4P is the first that comes to mind on an S2000, w/o pyrometers in each cylinder which are tied back to an automatic safety parameter, I would not recommend this.

(2) As said before the nozzle should ALWAYS spray conterflow to the air stream. This ensures nearly 100% atomization and if a nozzle was to clog and not atomize properly it would not go into the engine in liquid form.

(3) Failsafes are a necessity. I would not put a kit on my car w/o a Flow Sensor that is tied to a safety switch and pressure switch to ensure flow.

I was planning on buying a Aquamist HFS-6 which was the only system that has a flow and pressure switch as well as the ability to ramp up the flow properly. I placed on order for it and then canceled as I decided that it is just too much trouble compared to the benefits. In addition when I did select a kit I was still faced with needing more parts such as a proper baffled tank or surge tank system, needing more nozzles to accommodate an engine with higher power output and the most important part the tuning.

If you are going to get a Meth kit I would recommend you do a LOT of homework. Most of the injection kits are junk that are on the market including the AEM. Again without a flow switch and pressure switch there is no way to determine if the kit is actually spraying. Secondly the S2000 has a very archaic knock sensor algorithm compared to the EVO and STI guys so they have a much better safety system if the meth stops spraying.

All that being said I REALLY like the idea but for my “Keep It Simple Stupid” philosophy meth just doesn’t fit the bill.
