Default Most prefered turbo for the S

Hey guys just curious what your prefered turbo is for the s2000. Power Goals (500hp-550hp) is what im trying to reach. Undecided between gt3582r suggested by science of speed. BorgWarner S200SXE 7670 - 57mm 1.00 A/R suggested by full race. What turbos are you guys using!!?

I'm at 588whp with a gtx3076r. You really want the smallest and most responsive turbo you want for your goals. If all you want is 500whp I would just go with the Garrett gtx3071r.

The manifold makes a big difference for power as welll. You mention SOS gave you info, their manifold is gonna be a stretch to hit 550... maybe on E85... Tubular manifold will help with power goals.

The problem with Tubular Manifolds is heat soak and shielding becomes an issue, I suppose it depends on what you're willing to do. I'm interested in this as well, and while SOS manifold is great for response, it struggles in top end without E85. I'm not really interested in battery and fuse box relocation, so I'm kind of limited.

PTE 6466. Power goals will increase 60 days after you get it done,

Haha true... After driving the 500whp for a while, you probably want more.
Not a bad idea to buy a gtx3582 or pte 6266 (what I would recommand)

GTX3076R > GTX3071, even for lower power goals IMO. More headroom with no loss in responsiveness, I think the GTX3071's have actually been known to choke up top as well on F engines.

+1, tubular or bust.

This is true regardless of what turbo manifold you go with, but with the F or K series engines from Honda (probably even true for B/H), you REALLY should not restrict the exhaust with a log type manifold. It makes the valves run a lot hotter and is just inefficient as hell compared to a proper tubular manifold.

+1 GTX3076R.

To the OP, my strongest recommendation would be to go with a GTX3076R and a proper forward-facing tubular manifold (Full-Race, Sheepy). That should give you the least amount of problems with the most longevity and least heat soak.

Thanks a lot guys for the responses I think I'm gonna go for the full race t4 twin scroll with the gtx3076r. E85 is not accessible where I am located. Only 94 octane, methanol and race gas.

94 octane will be more than enough to get 500+ on that setup. Just make sure you have appropriately sized injectors and a good fuel pump.
