Default moving compressor side of turbo

Doing a Turbo build and the outlet on the Turbo is almost hitting my vtec solenoid. Can I just loosen up the bolts behind it and turn it? Is there any seals I have to worry about. Just need to move it a .5-1".
Will this be ok?

Yup, just loosen those bolts and turn the compressor housing.

Based on what I have seen, that is the way to do it. I had to clock my compressor housing a bit for the compressor outlet to clear my manifold.

The compressor housing, center cartridge, and exhaust housing can all be rotated independent of each other. Just don't go nuts when re-tightening the compressor housing bolts (the cover is aluminum).

I think manufacturer spec was 6-8 ft/lbs. They break loose very quickly because of the soft metal
