I haven't installed the kit yet but the turbo is a Garrett GT35R and my goal is 400 @ 12-13psi. The person i bought it from made 322 @ 8psi with a conservative tune. I cant decide if i should get 650 injectors or 750 with or without 3mm hg to make 400+
if your running a log mani, that turbo is too big for 400hp max. it will spool so much later. def do the 750 injectors. that gives you room down the road. persoanlly, i would stop woprrying about the 3mm HG and the meth. with a solid tune there is ZERO reason to have it with the stuff you are talking about.

on 8#, i made 350 with a lot of low end grunt. now i am on 9# and should be just south of 370. my buddy is about to go with a gt35 and equal lenth mani and he is shooting for 500 on stock stock stock block. its been done many times, and as long as the tuner is worth a shit, car should be fine.

and if possible, and your truly only wanting only hi 3's low low 4's, swap that turbo for a gt30r. you will have much better power band on that mani, if again it is a log mani.

good luck.

the water/meth kit is gonna add power regardless with a tune. my main concern is being able to run more boost on pump gas with high compression and keeping it safe. water/meth lowers the chance of knock and denotation which becomes a bigger problem when running high boost levels on high compression. power gains are just a plus for me

I think every TURBO application should be using Water/meth, or maybe just water at the very least, its an amazing thing........

i also agree that a gt30 would be a much better choice for your powergoals, especially if its a streetcar/daily driver. i would also deff do 750s, just because u have room to upgrade. keep the stock hg and find a good tuner.

Nice job!

Did you buy one of those universal piping kits for the intercooler piping and cut and weld to make it fit perfect or did you buy a already made setup?

It looks like a great job!
thanks. i just bought some mild steel bends, 45s ,90s and 3ft of straight. Fab'd it all up and had a friend weld it together.

i woulda thought the trap speed would be better but still not bad. What was your 60' and boost pressure at the track....etc? 12's is still good though
