rahter then spend money on water/meth kit. just toss in larger injectors and tune for 12-14psi. should have no prob hitting 400whp, and you dont need water/meth to run that safely.

i can respect that, but your so far under the threshold for pushing the envelope its not necessary. even at 400whp, your still in the safe zone, as long as the tune is safe. sure, if you wanna push more timing, then yeah, gonna need meth, but when i see people doing 500+ on a stock bottom end with no meth, your not gonna need it.

i remember about three years ago, the rule was under 400whp, have fun, 400-500 get a 3mm hg, above 500 build it. things changed when more guys became expereinced in tuning the car. now, dont quote me, but up to 450whp on completely stock motor is fine, again with good tune. 450-550whp can be done, but safer with 3mm hg, above 550whp, i personally would build it.

either way, you should be more concerned about your injectors being undersized. a 550 in at that power level is roaming into the bad zone. 650 atleast, but 750 will prolly be best for a low 400whp car.

i defiantly see where your coming from, injectors are gonna be a must for more power. my injectors are pretty maxed as is. my concern was i did not want to run race gas due to the cost which is what makes the met kit worth it from me. and for the money spent there is no harm done, pretty much just benefit. i'm just trying to achieve 400hp alil more efficient with meth/water kit. thanks for the input though, i always like to hear other opinions. keep it coming...
