yesterday i made the first dyno with the vortec SC. my base run was without the sc but with the rest of the stuff and cold air intake i got 215 whp

now with the super but with no tuning at all. i got 304whp and the wheather is pretty hot these days (95 fahrenheit at night!!)

my current mods are on my sig. i have ordered after the dyno a new exhaust (Ti T1R 70 headerback), injectors, fuel pressure regulator, and HONDATA ecu.

with proper tuning, and better weather how much gain should i expect? i want to keep it running stock boost at 7psi.
Ps: the car is super lean right now.

 

depending on your tuner....I would guess around 320whp.





ps you will not need bigger injectors if you stay with stock boost.

 

Nice numbers, i only did 278 with stock exhaust and everything else stock as well, just the vortech. Makes me want an exhaust now!

 

i really recommend a single 70mm and j's header or T1R header for FI, my friend is running on stock exhaust with the vortec and the difference between our cars is day and night!
i played with some serious sport cars and i wasnt dissapointed.

 

im interested if someone has a setup similar to mine. what are your dyno numbers? with tuning and without? thanks

 

I dynoed mine in March or so and got 310whp/206tq.all i had at the time was a test pipe and a clutch.btw it was also about 95
