Thumbs up is my idea crazy please let me know if i am or not

I had a dream last night for my s2k... Ive been planning on building a turbo motor for my s2k for a while now and had my mind pretty set until last night. in my dream i had the idea to build my engine at 12.5:1 then run an inline 3mm pro head gasket to drop the compression down just in case i ever wanted to go n/a ever again. is that crazy or would it work. heres my idea on my setup as of right now

f20c with stock bore benson sleeves
custom endyn roller wave pistons with 4mm thickness option with skirt and walls coated
carrilo rods
endyn ported head with welded chambers (unknown springs and retainers)
bisimoto cams
twm 52mm itb's with a custom plenum welded to it to work with boost (i have a miller tig)
AFI twin scroll turbo manifold T4 with twin 44mm gates
Garrett GTX3582R with a 1.06 t4 twin scroll hot side (how much power is this good for???)
custom intercooler piping
dual backdoor intercooler
50mm tial bov
id1000's
walbro 255 intank with a Bosch 040 inline with -6 lines
AEM ems series 2
inline pro r200 diff kit

probably forgetting a few things but thats the general idea only difference would be the different comp pistons and a good header if i went back N/A

sorry i kinda rambeled but my head is swimming with ideas now
thanks
Eddie

Not crazy, althought personally I've never seen the theoretical hype of twinscroll translate into a real world performance benefit.

you might want to ask around the forced induction forum and get some real world opinions from people who may have used similar setups/parts.

It would work with the IP headgasket.... until the headgasket would blow.

Bisimoto cams? They don't make them for our cars. Even if they did, Bisimoto cams are just Webcam regrinds.

That’s not a dream; it's a nightmare on many levels.
With the set up you are looking at, I can’t see the mill lasting long enough to even think about going back to n/a.
Might as well have a built n/a setup on the side for an occasional n/a swap.
So yes it’s a crazy idea.
This needs to be moved over to the infamous forced induction forum.

I think Bisi only make cams for the old SOHC F-series. I wish he'd start making some headers for us though.

I'm not saying you can't do it, but the with the time and money you'd have involved I'm not sure it would be worth it. Save yourself some money and headaches and run a turbo kit and ems initially. There will be plenty of time to break parts and go for more power along the way.
