so as some of you may already know for about 4months now i have been planningon going turbo. but as i am deployed to afghanastan i can't do it my self unless i were to wait. so while i was going through some of the main names in the s2k world, mase, inline pro, vortech, comptech... ihad decided on doing the greddy turbo kit bc i felt it had suited me best. so moving on to my next descision, should i wait and do it my self or have it done? i was leaning more twords doing it my self when i stumbled apon a video of mvpmotorsports supra, i had before this known much about the company as i have lived near it since i was born and had a few friends who had a few simple bolt ons done thier. from thier i had sent an e-mail out to dusty who had then connected me with robert who was the guy to talk to about s2000's at first i was a little bit scepticle about going through them but after some questioning it had seemed that he knew what he was talking about more than i did lol. so we had gone over the basics of the build, turbo kit, full exhaust, suspension and a few electronics. at a fenomenal rate. i couldnt wait for the build to take place. before i knew it the turbo was installed and robert had sent me pictures already, the car look perfect to me. then the next day more pictures as i tryed to ask every question i could, going over every aspect of what we had discribed the build to be, he hadn't missed a note completly on his game and very confedent in his work answered every question as if he had known the answers his whole life. but when it had come down to me being able to afford for new tires and a fender roll i simple couldn't move on so the coilovers were set on hold as of now. but still robert had tried his best to find the best rates and greatest quality for the buck to happen. when it was time for the s2000 to hit the dyno rollers it had made 244.10who and 196wtq and he had sent me the picture. he emiedietly called greddy and asked for an explenation on the numbers as they had told him it was due to a stock base map he had then continues on looking for the reasoning, come to find out it had been a silencer in my greddy ti-c that had cause the lack of power the whole time so with a new dyno taken place the car had pumped out 305.14whp and 202.09wtq on the base map reading a consistant and safe AFR. the guys had done a great job. it was more than i could have ever asked for every little detail they nailed and then sent me pictures to show for it. hands down the best work i have seen out of any performance shop. and this is comming from someone who typicaly works onhis own car
SORRY ABOUT THE SPELLING AND PUNCTUATION
i joined the army lol
it was a sponcership deal with a couple of different companys but i will post everything as soon as the build in finalized in febuary but i can telll you that they had started the pricing off way cheaper than any where i could find in denton, dallas, fort worth lewis ville and the quality was beyond worth it. i recommend them for the job anyday
Thank you very much sir, it has been a great pleasure to work on your vehicle and I'm sure you will be more than happy with it once you return from deployment. Also just so everyone else can see the gains on jermocaleb's S2K:
