Default is my oil psi high or is this normal?

Built engine, 2.0, no oil squirters. 10w40 (as per Laskey's recommendation)

my oil psi sensor is located on a sandwich adaptor on the engine block. So it is measuring oil as it comes straight out of the block.

When I am just cruising around I am usually about 90 psi, it will sometimes spike over 100psi depending on load.

pics show me cruising at 4k rpms @ 65mph.

Does this seem normal to you guys?

Sounds about right. Mine sits between 80-90 psi while cruising. Your lack of oil squirters may be the reason it's a little higher than mine.

it spikes at over 100psi occationally, but I'll have to check what it does at WOT. Kinda hard for me to look so i'll need a passenger to check it.

Seems normal with plugged squirters helping raise it a bit.
What does it read at idle when warm?
