That seems rather high even with plugged squirters.

actually it looks like it usually settles around 36-40 around idle.

Do you know what the oil temperature is when you take the oil pressure readings? If the oil is warm(not hot), that can give you a higher reading than when the oil is hot(230+ deg's).

i have an oil temp gauge. I guess what has been worring me the most is that when the oil is cold my gauge will peg 100psi. I wish I had a gauge which could reader higher (my autometer cobalt only reads 0-100psi)

What are you guys seeing with cold oil psi at startup?

My S is stock and it goes a little over 100 psi on cold start up. I wouldn't worry about 100 psi on cold oil. I've seen some S's that have 10 psi(or a little less) at idle when hot and these guys track their cars with no engine problems, because their oil pressure is good at just about any rpm above idle.

My oil pressure is 85-90+ on cold starts; 15-20psi at idle (when hot)

I rechecked it. It is actually 90-98 psi when crusing around town once the oil is hot.

When the car is cold the oil psi gauge is usually pegged at over 100psi??. until the oil starts to warm up.
