Not saying Autowave is at fault, but this was a thread about Autowave that everyone will point to. I personally followed your build closely and was hoping to see how it did over time. I am missing boost pretty bad and plan on shipping my car to Mase by the end of 2010 for a full build.
this is olddddd but still a good read!!

its probably the only issue autowave has ever had that was mentioned on the forums. And in the end its not even there fault, its a good read tho

But how about this... this thread is old... howcome every time you type in autowave in the search function this pops up?? its the FIRST thing that pops up. it would be nice to see new stuff pop up instead when this specific thread each time

not sure why so many people recommend Church.

buddy had his vortech tuned there (we installed it ourselves) and the tune was garbage. had so many issues with his car after the tune and they kept trying to say it was the used vortech kit and other things.

took it to another tuner and problems resolved by getting a good tune.
That sucks...

Maybe in the Hondata thread we should have a feedback thread to each local tuner.

Wow,Geeeez that was a long post to read and my eyes are very tired. Anyhow, I've had bad experiences in the past, Ericks Racing Engines, getting ripped off, bad tune, being sold an overpriced Ol Skool Speedcraft turbo kit, which I thought was a pieced togethger kit from Erick, car sitting outside with the top down and dirt and dust getting in on my pride and joy, etc.......................

Anyway, I finally got my engine built by Laskey Racing, and tuned by Church. I brought my car to Church for tuning and turns out one of my serial cable screws fell in my AEM EMS and ended up shorting out while I was trying to put on the serial cable. I was assed out, had to send my EMS to AEM for repair. Meanwhile, like I said I was assed out and could not drive the car home, nor had an extra EMS to continue with the tune and drive the car home. Ryan (ecko01) was kind enough to remove his Aem Ems from his S2000 and replaced with a stock ecu so I could continue on with my tune (465 whp with Speedcraft turbo kit and log manifold, not bad, thanks again Daniel). I did so, and the EMS worked fine throughout the tune and the whole time I drove the car. When Aem finally finished my EMS which was about 2 months or so later, I returned Ryan his EMS and installed the one that was just repaired by AEM. Just for your information, the AEM EMS that was sold to you(Threadstarter) was in perfect working condition from the time I borrowed from Ryan, throughout the time I used it, and from the time I returned it to him. For Ryan to let me borrow his EMS, that goes to show their kind heart and making sure their customers are satisfied. Hope this all makes sense, I need to take a break from this screen cause my eyes are about to fall out, LOL.
