My supercharged story...

I don't know why this thread is still going.....
OP was in a bind b/c it's his only car. That doesn't excuse him rushing a supercharger install (not waiting for missing parts) and getting upset with the result.
Per my first post, "OP doesn't have a leg left to stand on"

I waited paitently for the missing parts. I never blamed the missing parts on Church Automotive. I dont feel like retyping everything I said so go back and read please.
Everyone please let this thread calm down untill there is more news to post.
Thanks.

I think that everyone knows the facts that have happened to my car which is most important.
Fact: My car came in on a toe truck to autowave after 2 days of the original install for multiple reasons caused by the original install.
Fact: I made more power on a lower reading dyno at Autowave.
Fact: Church Automotive (or whoever they say was installed my kit) is obviously trying to cover there asses, which they should be doing. I dont blame them at all for making excuses instead of accepting fault and moving forward. Thats business.
Those are the facts and im going to leave it at that.
I have nothing else to say. I think both sides have contributed to the fullest extent and I will report after I findout what will happen about the refunds.

So to sum it up...
Missing bolts = bad
Leaky vtech = bad
hoses routed incorrectly = bad
vacuum lines rubbing on accessory hose = bad
badly modified AEM and corrosion = bad
At any point in time did it occur to the installer that this isn't going well, maybe we should pull the plug and tell owner you need time to do it right or you won't do it at all? Things are missing and need to be replaced or we won't do it? I know the shop I go to will bend over backwards to make a customer happy, but they won't jeopardize the quality of their work.
As the owner says "His reputation is his most valuable asset"
It doesn't look good for you guys. If it was my car I'd be calling a lawyer or suing in small claims court for a refund.

I'd like to see church Automotive give you a Full Refund on everything they attempted to do for you.
This is why I don't sell used equiment or do labor with customer supplied equipment that isn't NEW. Turns into a headache.
I think before the people performing installs at Church auto should have a fully detailed disclaimer stating that they are operating as a different entity, even though they're still doing it under church's roof. I'm surprised Church auto didn't have them do that before they did any installs as many more things can go wrong with installs/mechanical labor than tunes.
Regardless, I think the OP should be compensated for some of the install (which caused the tune to be slightly faulty due to faulty EMS being sold) and the EMS as well as those seem to be a little suspect. As for the tune, that should be up to Church if he wants to reimburse the OP for his employees' actions. I don't think what the OP is requesting unreasonable and with Church and his employees'/installers standing behind their work, don't see a reason why he shouldn't be compensated, at least a little.

^ nothing wrong with EMS it was the alarm system(must read everything first) I am for the customer most of the time but in this case since he didn't bring it back to the original installer to try and fix things, I think it's up to the installer what to do from hear.

-I do agree with taking it back to original installer, but he called and they pointed it towards the supercharger unit. that should already give you an idea of how much longer it's going to take if they're already blaming that. Owner said he wanted a 2nd opinion...nothing wrong with that. He consulted with autowave, he brought it in and everything was resolved after taking it to autowave which further supported the lack of confidence about the installation. You have to admit that A LOT of things went wrong...more so than a normal install/tune went and if he did take it back to Church, who knows how much longer the owner would've been without a car. he would've come back with a story how he's been carless for a few weeks and having to pay for uninstall of a supercharger unit that was indeed not faulty.
