I think that the .48 was definitely a good call for what you were trying to achieve. I'm assuming that you've got a Turbosmart 38mm wastegate on the car. Is it vented to atmosphere?

The wastegate vents to atmosphere...I never would have achieved this number had the gas been redirected back into the exhaust, at least not with this HKS dual.

I'm very happy with this A/R. The mid-range punch is unbelievable.

Does your GT3076R have anti surge housing?

No, it doesn't.

I have dialed out any surge by backing out the spring force in the BOV. At full BOV spring stiffness, I can create compressor surge by building boost and then immediately going 10-20% throttle at low engine speeds. With the BOV backed out, it takes less manifold vacuum to open the BOV, allowing the comrpessed air that would cause surge to escape.

No we don't. If the car had the same setup, it would be making the same power at the same boost level.
i just saw the video.

Which videos are you talking about?
I know you don't, but I believe it's here.

Let me double check. I know it was an inline pro kit or something with 3mm gasket.
This is the only InlinePro kit with this turbo selection. Unless someone else ordered one on the last few months.

i just found out, it's GT35R. Inline pro kit though. maybe the turbo is swapped out, whatever.

There is a video out there that I got. It's your car, top down, 2step, in front of a shop of sort, burn out, then taking off for a bit, etc.

stock rims, painted side bumper holes, turbo, etc.

I run a .63 through a stock exhaust and I think I want to try a .48 with a bigger wastegate. As it stands, I'm overwastegating the .63 with a 40mm wastegate with the biggest valve seat available, boost was tapering, so I went to a smaller valve seat and higher rate spring and fixed the problem.

I think that a bigger wastegate might achieve you the higher HP numbers without being a detriment to your response.

Depending on how your wastegate is setup, AGP turbo has an adapter to convert the 2-bolt 38 mm style wastegates to the Tial 44mm/Synapse 50mm wastegate flange.

Thats John's car, not mine. I can't beat my car like that with a stock rear diff.

Not a bad idea. I think my best option is to just ditch the HKS eventually. Opening up the exhaust will have a much bigger impact than enlarging the wastegate...I just need to keep quiet.
