Congrats on the numbers, yeah i took my car out last night and punched it in 3rd gear against a 500whp G35 and the backend def. didnt like it too much. Just like you the car owned me for awhile but yesterday was the first full day i really beat on the car on and like you said the power comes on so smooth that its very predictable. I def. owned a few cars last night. Enjoy, have fun, and be safe

Suhweeeet...

The torque is trailing off in the meat of the powerband. This is a good characteristic to have, as when the wheels spin and rpm goes up, torque drops off instead of increasing! Should mean improved driveability. Theoretically...

Now do mine!

I agree. The faster you go, the harder it will be to break traction. It works very well actually. I just got back down to Virginia today where the temps are a few degrees warmer than northern Maryland and there is not nearly as much salt on the roads. Fourth gear was not safe in MD, but I just ran a few 60-120 runs starting in 3rd gear and everything was great. I had a very slight feeling that the rears were reaching their adhesion limits at about 5500 in 3rd but they just kept biting. After I got over the torque hump (feels more like a mountain) I knew the tires would stay planted.

So third and fourth gear are golden and that is on stock S-02s with dirty (somewhat salty) roads and and an ambient temp of 23 degrees. Second gear is still up in smoke at the moment. I don't really anticipate every being able to go full throttle in second though.

Damn this thing is quick.

Aye, remember SO-2s cannot get up to proper operating temps (unless you do massive burn outs) in sub 40 degree weather so everytime you floor it your taking a risk of your rear end coming out unexpectedly and the situtation turning for the worst. Let the dragon breathe fire when it gets a little warmer out

After nailing it in 3rd gear and finally getting the car to straigten out i pulled about 1 car immediatly and held him off till we shut down at the top of 4th. Very good friend of mine 505whp and 490lb/ft of torque. It was fun.
