Default My winter plans

Whats up guys. Im planning on upping my boost to the limit of my FMU on MY01 S2000. Ill be running a AP2 CTSC pulley which will be 7psi (6psi most likely with the Ultimate racing front mount). I just picked up another diff with Ricks 4.56/7s and ill be adding the COMPTECH diff brace as well. I have a 70mm test pipe, and Invidia V3 catback. I also have a clutch as well. Im wondering if I should see around 270-280 on my setup this year. I dynoed 255whp at 4psi and runing a bit on the lean side. Hopefully I will be able to hit 12's this year

I did some digging but not much luck. I still havnt figured out how to succesfully use the search on this forum.

Any opinions from the CTSC crowd?

Not knowing exactly what type of dyno you used before, nor will you be going back to the same dyno, its hard to say what kind of number you will be hitting with the 7psi pulley.

Assuming you are going back to the same dyno, and the number from the 4psi run is from a Mustang type or similar, you should be able to pull 280 at 6 psi no problem.

My car pulled 319 with 7psi on a mustang dyno this last spring. But I'm run a bit lean at this time, so I've not been pushing my car hard at all. I'll be kpro'ing this coming spring to get my AFR under control. I just haven't decided if I want to go 10 psi while I'm at it, or stay at 7.

I used Kings Dynojet and ill be using it again. How did you get over 300whp with only 7psi? Do you have anything else done to your car? I would say my mods are very basic...

I made 304 HP on 8.4 max PSI (non aftercooled) with my old comptech kit.

Just as an FYI, if you run at the limit of your FMU, you'll be boggy down low and lean at crossover.

Do yourself a favor and pick up one of the used AEM EMS' on the forum and be done with it.

Vafc is for leaning out the bottom end if you don't want to break the bank, the guy is only talking 6-7 psi here. It works! Adjust the fpr to run proper afr up top and then lean out the bottom with the vafc so the afr's are proper across the board. The narrow throttle cross over point after idle/stoitch afr before WOT kicks in is the only part you can't tune with the vafc and will run a little richer, but you can adjust the throttle position from when the narrow operation to WOT kicks in so you can limit your narrow throttle runing point to almost non existent so its no problem, your spending $100 on a used vafc vs $1000 used ems + tuning!? so is it worth it to you? Sure if you plan on doing 10-15psi in the future. I'm running 8psi on factory injectors and vafc2. I haven't dyno'd yet but I should be pushing 325whp My next step is to pick up some 440cc Injectors and run them off the vafc with 9-10psi max, should be close to 350whp on factory ecu there is a few guys that have done this with good results, i'm going to try it next. One guy on the board that I know of did it with 550cc injectors and vafc.
