MY06 Turbo Option
Hello everyone. I am toying with the idea of modding the S2K and want to get your opinion. I was going to get the Greddy Kit however it isn't out yet for 06. What are some of the option. My power goals is roughly 300-350 reliable as I use my S2K as a DD. I was going to go N/A but can't justify the amount I am spending for only 225 whp. At any rate. I was looking at Inline pro. Pricing it out, its roughly around 7500 not including install. (clutch is factor in the price)
I have 7k on the ODO in the S2k so maybe its too soon. I'm sure there has been other threads but I couldn't find it.
Any help or advise is much appreciated.

I am having the Greddy kit put onto my MY07 now. You can use any turbo kit in a my06+
Your only concern is engine management. You can use the Emanage Ultimate ($750 or so with the harness), or a modified AEM unit with a special harness (~$2000; more for UEGO option). Note that only person currently sells the AEM (Mike at Autowave in California), and that your stock ecu is still retained for throttle function.
Edit: there are also issues with the returnless fuel system in MY06+. if you are approaching high power numbers, the returnless fuel system may present an issue. There is a member on the board who converted his MY06 to a non-returneless type (like MY00-05).
You also need to decide if you want 300 or 350. You will struggle to get any more than 300whp with the Greddy kit.

i heard that 350 is pushing the fuel limit on the 06. I would like to stay at around 300-325 just to be on the safe side
anything above 350, you need a fuel pump which is included in most of the kits anyways.
The Greddy kit isn't producing that great of a number but not that many has posted their dynos so I'm still am interest in it. Also the fact that its carb legal is awesome

greddy is currently testing their kit for my06+ and they are thinking about not including the walbro 255 pump if they do not feel it's necessary; mine has the 255 since it was originally an ap1/non dbw ap2 kit
