The tension on the tie down straps will effect the HP reading.
Parker, fyi - I'm using a Berk hi-flow cat & no CEL being thrown here. Also, what plug and plug gap are you using?

How much of an effect? Why?

Because the increased tension increases the friction between the tire and the roller. It's not something new with chassis dyno'ing a car.
Parker, the Berk hi-flow cat has a longer bung for the 02 sensor, sorta like a "CEL fix" test pipe. I don't know about the U.R. cat, but maybe that is the only difference. If so you can always add an anti-fouler or two to your cat.

I'd do a compression check.
Just a guess, but I would imagine moving the vtec up would also lower your maximum hp and make the car feel slower.

While its there, I'm gonna have everything looked at twice using the helpful suggestions supplied in this thread. Thanks to everyone who posted.
Well I don't think Parker has posted in a while he got a NIssan GTR, but I know he did have a coil problem that did fix one of his issues. He also had a bad actuator but the coils do go bad, many people have moved over to the RSX coils.
are you low on oil? look like your vtec isn't turning on. it seems to spike on the first graph but the spike is completely gone in the next graphs. plus, looking at the power loss and the boost you run, that is about how much power you will lose with no VTEC. i would check the oil level then I would manually kick in the VTEC solenoid. that never hurts to try and it's quick to do. also what valve springs do you have it the car? i didn't read the whole post so i also might be missing info. hahah sorry if this was stated already.
