Default N/A to turbo build

I have a 08 CR looking to what are the best parts i can purchase to eventually work up to a turbo kit. So looking more for parts to add that i can keep when i install the turbo. Any suggestions or thoughts on what path to take. Basically best power for the money.

I have the tsudo N1 Catback on right now

but looking to exchange with the GReddy TI-C soon

But looking in to hondata flashpro as well for tuning

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks

Ok, to be honest most of the mods that you would go after for power while N/A will not work or will be replaced when going turbo. Intakes can be pretty cheap and dont really yield much in terms of performance but my K&N made a great sound, obviously any intake goes away when you get a turbo.

Anyway as far as things that can or will cross over.

AEM EMS is kinda the standard for tuning on a turbo, but is beneficial when still N/A. 3" exhaust is also a standard but this is really too big for N/A, some will argue otherwise. Everything depends on the money you want to throw into the car. You could install a new intake manifold and throttle body both of which will help N/A or turbo, more so turbo. Also go after cooling; new radiator, T-stat, radiator cap. Stuff like new valves, valve springs, retainers and keepers are a good idea but you should probably just wait until you either redo the block or throw 3mm head gasket in(when the head is removed anyway). Most of the stuff that is NEEDED to go turbo should be included, or as add ons or upgrades in the kit i.e. injectors, fuel pump, etc. So don't waste your time and money buying injectors or anything like that. Just remember money and time are the big limitations so figure out what your goals are for the car and go from there.

Clutch and headwork although that depends on what your power goals are...

Do some reading about other builds first then decide what turbo kit you want and what power level. Then ask questions
