I actually have an adapter. I just don't know which one it is. I also need the software for it. Can you communicate with the emanage with the adaptor because I haven't been able to and neither could my tuner when he tried.

Pretty hard for us to find you a driver if we don't know what device it is.

And if you know what device it is you can find the driver as easily (possibly easier) than anybody else.

I have a usb to serial cable. It doesn't have a brand on it. The serial to usb is a trust brand, from greddy. I have been killing myself trying to find a usb to serial driver on google and every other site. I know that its a driver pl2303 and it may or may not work. I also know that there were some people making clone usb to usb cables. I just want something that will work from my usb cable to the emanage.

Ahh, blue E-manage? Has a USB style port? And you have the Support Tool cable which is DB9 at one end and USB-style at the other?

If yes to the above, it is not a USB to Serial adaptor. It's a serial to USB-style serial port cable.

There is no driver. The serial end plugs into older laptops serial ports or if your laptop doesn't have serial you need a (you guessed it) USB to serial adaptor!

Maybe you should buy 'Google for Dummies'.
