Ahhh, I noticed it.

So what you're saying is you have an adaptor and you'd like someone to provide you with drivers. You don't want to have to search for it, nor to unzip it. At a stretch you'll provide the identifying marks, but that is pushing it.

Seriously, if you want a solution you find the drivers. Then you unzip them. Then you install them.

Are you really so helpless you can't do these things yourself? Who wipes your arse for you?

I looked at several "office" style stores today and nobody carries the female serial to usb adaptor. Where can you find this particular unit?? Hopefully its not an internet order only item. I need it soon.

I am honestly the most computer illiterate person. I downloaded 3 sets of software. The link you provided I had already had and even went through the motions of "installing" it. But it still shows up as unknown device. I can't make my computer realize to use the software for the usb port. I don't know the proper steps. I can go to device manager and blah blah but it needs a cd and won't allow me to type in a location for the software. Its really beginning to piss me off. Going to get a beer now.

There is no such thing as a 'Serial to USB' adaptor. Serial maxes at about 120Kbps (there are some faster) but USB 1 runs at 12Mbps and 2 at 480Mbps. The connector on the E-manage Blue IS NOT USB.

Thats fine. I need a USB to Serial adaptor. Obviously the connection to the Emanage needs to remain and it is "not USB" to serial and I need to communicate with the serial end of the deal and my computer has a USB port.

All the help you need is contained in my posts. Unfortunately it does require you to do a couple of things that you seem reluctant to do.

So unless someone wants to go avisiting I'd say you're at an impasse.

Best o'luck to ya.
