NEED HELP! 2.4L stroker with gt35r and hypertune
i recently finihsed my 2.4 lstroker set up pn my ap1 heres the problems
when i installed the aem slftware on my new toshiba laptop i plug the ecu to the laptop and aem tells me "failure to connect" i plug something into the same usb port and it works fine only does not work with the aem....
so i used an older computor with windows 98 and it worked fine....
so then i go threw the basic configurations on the aem and then i get to the ign calibration and it requires the car to be at idle so i go to start the car and it will not start..... i double cheked all my wiring all my connections everything.... all good all sensors good and everything is good i dont get it... car cranks fine starts fine and it dies after 2 secs.... i cheked all the vacuum and its all good....
now i am running 1000 cc precicion injectors will the car run just idle with these injectors and no injector driver (like the aem injector driver) or will the car not start at all without the injector driver (because i do have injector pulse)
im also running a return on the fuel setup any difference where with tuning or starting the car?
my fuel set up is as follows tank>filter>external pump>fuel rail>regulator>back to tank
any help or advice would be great and really really appreciated as this is driving me nuts!

First make sure that your filter between the tank and pump is a low pressure filter. If it's a high pressure or fuel injection type filter, your pump won't be able to draw the fuel thru.
Second, if you have a connection issue, it may be a driver issue or you may need to pick the right serial Com port.
Thirdly, if you haven't already, you need to setup your injectors under SETUP.
Fourthly, take it to an experienced AEM Tuner

Elite performance, when you start AEMpro, click on the 'home' icon on the menu bar. On the dashboard in the top right hand corner there's a parameter labeled 'sync'. Start the car car up and see what it does. It should be off then turn on and stay on after a few cranks of the engine.
About the 1000cc injectors, if they are peak and hold injectors ( low resistance) then you'll run into problems if you don't use an injector driver or similar, since our cars come setup for saturated (high impedance) injectors.
You will burn out the injector drivers inside of the AEM ems box as you currently have the 1000cc injectors configured.
If you are using MS Vista, it is not stable with the AEM software.
