Default Need help with down pipe dilemma, A.S.A.P.

Well, I've run into a super big issue... I bought a PFAB ELT Manifold recently, and I emailed him about buying a down pipe to go into my Berk exhaust and he told me that the downpipe wont fit the exhaust (so now I'm up shit creek without a paddle and a bunch of holes appeared in my boat).

I refuse to get a different exhaust because he can't put a fitting on the down pipe to bolt to my exhaust..... does anyone know of a down pipe that will fit??

You can buy the downpipe and cut the flange off and weld on whatever flange you need from the exhaust. Or order it without the flange.

Buy downpipe. Bring to exhaust shop. Hand them money, car, and downpipe and say install.

Did he explain why it won't fit the exhaust? Is it just a flange thing or is it too short/long? If you don't want to change exhausts then I would say head to a reputable exhaust shop and have them fix you up.

The Pfab downpipe doesn't go all the way to the exhaust. You have to have another section made with flex pipe for it to mate with your exhaust. I had a local shop make me a pipe with a flex section and vband clamps and hook it up to my berk test pipe. Most exhaust shops can probably knock this out for you but I had a tuner shop do it. Any competent fabricator can do it easily

It's not. I had my shop cut the flange off the front and install a vband clamp.
