Default Need help I think its my esm for comptech s/c

what are the symptoms when your ESM goes out on a comptech s/c?
I think i shorted mine when Tried to hardwire my V1 on the same line as my ESM. It drove good for a bit then problems started to occur. car would stall out, rpm goes up and down like its going to die out on me.
please help, thanks

the ESM is the blackbox unit that comptech supplies with their supercharger kit.

you might need to be a bit more detailed.. if the ESM unit fried, then theoretically, the car should enter limp mode when it detects boost. are you still able to get into vtec? does the car feel drastically slower?

well idle is good and normal, but sometime when i give it gas the car wont move or it starts to jerk violently. so I dont want to damage anything so i just let go of the gas. when the car stalls out my check engine light comes on and idles very low, between 500 and 600. but then when i disconnect the batt the check engine lights out and idles fine until I take it for a ride and then it occurs again. I thought it was my alternator but then it shouldnt act like this and i just a new battery. my conclusion came down to this because i hooked up my V1 radar detector on the same outlet on the fuse box as my esm.
