Where do you guys get this 1600 is too big for DD??!! I recently changed my setup from 880's and a single walbro on 93 to e-85 1600's and dual walbros. I messed around with my original tune that Mase did and I got it working perfect. Start up is a little issue but Im no tuner! take two cranks to start her sometimes. Not only is e-85 higher octane but it also cools the motor down alot.

110 is $6.50 a gallon and right around the corner from where I live, but it's still at least twice as much as e85. I'd much rather spend $30 or $40 for a fill up vs $70 or $80. I guess no I need to figure out what I'm going to do, rather it's a twin bump and 8 1000ccs or a twin pump with 1600cc.

STL2SLW Does the Bosch drop in with out any modifications? I want to go E85 but can not afford to do a full fuel system. My car consists of walbro pump, ID 1000s, and synapse FPR. Could I just add another pump inline, or get a more capable pump? I would like to make 600whp on no more then 23psi. I will be on a Pfab ELTM with a precision 6262.

i think the misunderstanding is that we all beleived that bigger then say a 750 idle and low throttle would be a bitch to tune and rougher to drive. huge ass injector trying to send very little fuel.

but what we all have learned, is that its not nearly that big a deal as all thought.

hell i thought my 650's would give me trouble. but i was wrong. drives fine. idles like a champ.

Are you guys using a HOB switch on your second fuel pump? I plan on adding a second in tank side by side wahlbro with a HOB switch effective after 10 psi.
