Default Need New Battery

Well after 6 years, the stock battery is completly dead on me. With that being said, I'm in the market for a new battery so I figured I'd ask you guys what batterys your using for your FI setup (even more specific, AEM EMS guys that require a large cold cranking Amperage). FWIW, I've been eyeing the sears diehard gold battery that fits in the s2k.

Any suggestions would be great!

Sounds like time to reroute to the trunk and go with the 925 odyssey battery. I tried the 680 but it wasn't quite enough.

I have a 9 month old Die Hard I'll sell you if you want. I relocated my battery and used the Braille 21 pounder. Spins my 9:1 motor over with ease. the Die Hard was really nice and a good upgrade from the stocker though. Spun the 11:1 motor over better than stock.

Thanks,
Stanford

I'm on the AEM EMS and I use the 680mj *mj =metal jacket no difference in battery.

starts great, no change over honda battery at all.

In fact I had the battery sit for 2 months WAYYY LOW ON CHARGE, and even then it started it up. plus 15.4lbs is damn light thats like 50% lighter I think over stock.

I have a brand new exide orbital (optima yellow top replica) 140 dollar battery.... you can have it for 20 bucks.

Long story short I used to get optima and exide batteries ....hundreads of em.

P2R/K1/Champs/etc. indoor karts run em

it was never used except to jump other cars a couple times, never been mounted.
