Default Need some help !

Hey guys. I know that "relatively" the safe number on pump is about 14psi.

Now I had a gt3076r on 14 and made 425

But switching to my Borg Warner s300sx fmw is gonna make more power on 14 obviously because it's moving more air.

So now what ? Is 14 still the safe number ? Or should I stop around 12 ?

I plan to go e85 but I'm Gonna need a 93 tune.

Ive ran 21 pounds of boost on my car for 3 years now with no issues. I wouldnt say theres a certain amount of boost you should run to be safe. Its more along the lines of how good your tune is, Its all in the tune.

Even on 93 ? I'm a Stock motor. Besides valve train. Still stock headbolts.

Then why is 14lbs the safe number ?

I figure that's why go e85 due to octane

your tuner will tell you when to stop. ive noticed 14psi is around the number most stop at. you will make good power on pump with that turbo and that mani, only thing i would wonder about is how that adapter will effect the turbos performance.

otherwise, i think you are fine. dont focus on the psi or the power. let tuner tune to his comfort level. also the type of dyno effects the numbers you will see.

Sounds good ^^ thanks man.

And tbh. I don't think it will at all. It's less then a half inch thick. T3 gasket one one side and t4 gasket to the other side. It looks like a perfect fit when it was on.

I've done 16 psi on 91 octane, but that was a built motor with lower compression. Like they said above, it all depends on the tune.

One think to look out for, the S300SX FMW has a 3" compressor outlet versus 2" on the GT3076R.
