Default couple questions

whats the difference in a $200 no name intercooler and a full-race $700 intercooler? also if I'm gonna stay around 12-15 psi (stock internals) what size wastegate and bov should I run. I'm shooting for 425whp but I would like to have the option to up the boost/power after I built the rear end. Wheres the cheapest place to by a gt35r?

The intercooler will not flow as well and won't be as sufficient in cooling the air.. at 15 psi yopu would need to be runnin a higher octane fuel or meth injection etc... In all honesty if that6 is the power goal you weant oyu should just get Mases new kit and be done with it.. His is 400 whp out of box and can be upgraded to fit larger turbos... depends if you want to build your own or not tho i guess... good luck

FI for this car is expensive... especially if u want good numbers.. A good ems will run about 1000 alone... turbo 700-1000.. Boost gauges, oil pressure,AFR.. It all adds up.. I am not saying a custom kit can not be done, but IMO just do it the safe and easy way.. Save up >>If your budget is only 3000 I would honestly reconsider and think about saving a little more cash...

$3k can do it, but not very safe. Who knows though I got a full kit for $3k, but that wasn't including ecu or tune. Ya it adds up very fast.

It seems like I remember reading the more money you put into a car upfront the less you'll pay for later. Especially with an already expensive car.

You don't have enough money for that power level most likely. Save up or prepare to have headaches. Simple as that

You can definitely piece something together for $3000, and I wouldn't even question the quality. But keep in mind that you should have about $1000-2000 ready for small issues that add up, or a large issue due to the turbo kit! There is no such thing as a plug and play turbo kit no matter what anyone says, especially at those power levels!
