New ACT clutch problem
Hey guy's recently I've been preping my car for a turbo buildup that encludes a laskey built engine and an ACT HD clutch. I just got the car running last night, and tried to take it for a spin, but ran into a problem. The car will go into any gear while the engine is off, but will not shift while the engine is running. After doing a search I found that i might need to adjust the plunger bolt atached to the clutch pedal, but I'm not quite sure if this is correct. Before I went to the ACT clucth the transmission worked properly, and with only 35,000 miles on the clutch assembly I figured putting a new disk and pressure plate in would not require an adjustment.
My questions for you guy's is:
1. Have any of you experienced this problem after switching clutch assemblies?
2. How do I get the bracket for the clutch plunger back on the pedal after extending it further? (Do/Can I take the pedal off with not much trouble)
3. Any other ideas as to what might be wrong? I will try to bleed the system tomorrow morning, but as it was working about 2 weeks ago I figure is should work fine now without having to bleed.
