Does the hood hit your airbox? The new kits should be redesigned a bit to prevent rubbing on the airbox.

Damn...........damn........damn...theyre going to work on it more tonight and then more tommorow and there goal is to have it tommorow but thats they saids tonight. I'm sure every mecahnic there has had a ride in my s2k at the acura dealership now. its getting frsutrating though and trying to keep my cool with the service guy.....but if its not fixed by tomm I m ight not be able to be so calm.

It has to be "air" pump. There is no CEL for "water" pump. I'm going to guess that they buggered up the vacuum line routing or reversed the check valve. I've seen this happen before. I highly doubt it has anything to do with any "upgrades" they made to the Comptech kit.

The intercooler water pump is an independent system that draws off the battery. It won't matter if it's a little bigger. I think they're just using the water pump as an excuse because they can't figure out what they did wrong. Something is not adding up and I think they are not keeping you in the loop.
just called them again and they have checked vacuum and the check valves already and still get this air pump code.....maybe I should have xviper tlak to the mechanic

Does the new system have more hp/torque than the old one?

Get a Krank vent. They're recommending one now.

I agree with Xviper. I purchased my kit in April. Everything in it looks exactly like my friends AP2 Comptech kit he purchased a year ago. I have yet to install it. But, I can't imagine it would operate any differently than his.

How much clearance do you get over your airbox SilverKnight? That was one of the main redesign items.
