Default New Kraftwerks High Boost owner

Hello Everyone,

I am a 3 month old S2000 owner purchasing a 2008 with just 4k miles at the time. I researched (with the help of S2Ki) on how I planned to boost my AP2. Kraftwerks was my choice. A bit surprised that i had to order iridium plugs after the fact but all is well.
I have a couple of observations that I hope someone may be able to answer after a few hundred miles...

First, I have noticed that it has a tendency to have a bit of difficulty turning over. Now it's not that difficult; maybe an extra second or two delay. It tends to occur more when the engine is warm rather than a cold start.

Second (which may be linked to the first issue), when the fan kicks in at idle my rpm's drop to 600 but regains to normal (around 1000). Never has stalled but it throws me off at a light during engagment with clutch. Anyone with Kraftwerks experience this ?

My next step is to contact Oscar Jr. but I thought I would ask here first. My guess is that i should try another set of plugs. I did not buy the You Tune kit. Flash was done through Kraftwerks/Hondata. I apologize if I am in the wrong area to post but still learning my way through with posts

all those things you have mentioned are normal. Side effects of running much larger injectors.

Worth it for the 150whp gain. IMO

Oh yeah, I forgot. SOS sport clutch install. Great clutch.
I think you hit it on the head. Maybe I am a bit touchy on details. I love this mod! Thanks for the input....

I must say that it was fun on the track. On the straight I was able to pull away from a current model STI with intake/exhaust/ECU flash (that is what he claims). At first he ran with a passenger. Then he ran alone. Still pulled away. All in fun as i know mods are indefinite. I kept up with a 2005 Elise but he was a better driver! On the straights I caught him but he walked away in corners.

Man I love this car coming over from muscle,,,,

Man i miss my KW kit. It seems those issues you posted get worse in higher elevation. When i was staying in Sparks, NV above 5,000 ft. It would do the same thing. Then when i would go to socal not much of it.

Not sure what you were stating. What I do know is I love driveability. This car feels stock. Its my weekend driver. Right now its more because the snow drives me nuts.
Trying to accomplish reliability with power is tough with any car. And i must say this car does the trick. Kudos KW...
I'm happy.

Yeah, we have finally been able to blow the cobwebs out of ours also. It was a nice treat to finally drop the top.

Yes i have an 03 high boost kit. Everything that you said im going through. My car used to stall but i had the idle adjusted now it just sits at 900 rpm in stead of 600 where it would shake and want to stall.

I dont know if this makes any sense since this is NOT a turbo. But now after driving HARD before turning the key switch off and let the car "cool off" kinda like the evo's and such boosted cars. I no longer get the car car shake when the fan goes on. This is assuming that you drove to place fast then turned off your car. Then 5 minites turned it back on and your fan goes on.
